Dreamweaver includes a code editor that supports syntax highlighting, code completion, real-fourth dimension syntax checking, and code introspection for generating code hints to assist the user in writing code.
Dreamweaver, similar other HTML editors, edits files locally and so uploads them to the remote web server using FTP, SFTP, or WebDAV. Dreamweaver CS4 supports the Subversion (SVN) version command organization.
Since version five, Dreamweaver supports syntax highlighting for the following languages:

The older Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 also features a Eye Eastern version that allows typing Arabic, Western farsi, Urdu, or Hebrew text (written from right to left) within the lawmaking view. Whether the text is fully Center Eastern (written from right to left) or includes both English and Centre Eastern text (written left to right and right to left), it will be displayed properly.
